A membership with the Institute of CPD raises your profile in the workplace and on your CV by demonstrating your passion and commitment for learning new skills and also gaining knowledge and experience.

Achiever of The Institute

Our iCPD ‘Achiever’ category welcomes young people aged 16 to 25. To become an iCPD Achiever, applicants must demonstrate that they regularly undertake learning activities to build their skills and knowledge.

Post-Nominals :On successful application for this membership category you will be awarded with the post-nominals ‘AInstCPD'.

CPD: As an iCPD Achiever, you are required to undertake 10 hours of CPD per annum.

FEE: £29 per annum ​

Post-Nominals :On successful application for this membership category you will be awarded with the post-nominals ‘AInstCPD'.

CPD: As an iCPD Achiever, you are required to undertake 10 hours of CPD per annum.

FEE: £29 per annum ​

Joining Criteria: Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are currently completing a formal educational qualification OR have completed/working towards a CPD Standards Office accredited course for young people

Important Information: Please note that applicants for Achiever status will also be required to provide evidence of their date of birth. On passing the age of 25, iCPD Achievers will move to the next category of membership - iCPD Member and receive the post-nominals MInstCPD.

Member of The Institute

Our iCPD ‘Member’ category welcomes people of all ages, as long as applicants are able to demonstrate that they have relevant experience and are dedicated to professional development.

Post-Nominals : On successful application for this membership category you will be awarded with the post-nominals ‘MInstCPD'.

CPD: As an iCPD Member, you are required to undertake 20 hours of CPD per annum.

FEE: £59 per annum

Our iCPD ‘Member’ category welcomes people of all ages, as long as applicants are able to demonstrate that they have relevant experience and are dedicated to professional development.

Post-Nominals : On successful application for this membership category you will be awarded with the post-nominals ‘MInstCPD'.

CPD: As an iCPD Member, you are required to undertake 20 hours of CPD per annum.

FEE: £59 per annum

Joining Criteria: To qualify for iCPD Member you must be a member of another professional institute or industry regulator (in any country) OR hold a degree, or UK NVQ Level 5 or equivalent OR a minimum of 5 years professional work experience OR completion of a CPD Standards Office accredited course.

Important Information: Please note that applicants for Member status will be required to provide evidence of their date of birth and qualification criteria. At any time, iCPD Members can change their membership to iCPD Fellow and receive the post-nominals FInstCPD providing they meet the criteria.

Fellow of The Institute​

To become a Fellow, applicants must demonstrate that they have a university degree (BSc, BA, MA or MSc), continuously seek to maintain high professional standards and contribute to the advancement of learning for others.

Post-Nominals: On successful application for this membership category you will be awarded with the post-nominals ‘FInstCPD'.

CPD: As an iCPD Fellow, you are required to undertake a minimum of 30 hours CPD per annum.

FEE: £89 per annum

To become a Fellow, applicants must demonstrate that they have a university degree (BSc, BA, MA or MSc), continuously seek to maintain high professional standards and contribute to the advancement of learning for others.

Post-Nominals: On successful application for this membership category you will be awarded with the post-nominals ‘FInstCPD'.
