Creative learning charity, Artis is one such example. It works with schools across the country to bring the curriculum alive through the arts – from singing to dance and drama. This creative approach helps to boost academic achievement, improve speaking & listening skills and build confidence and self-esteem.
Meanwhile, the Harris Foundation for Lifelong Learning’s partnership with The Globe Theatre, London has helped local schoolchildren to reap the rewards of performing on the stage. Through an exciting initiative named ‘Our Theatre’, local schools come together with their wider community to share the magic and drama of Shakespeare. Along the way, those involved get the chance to boost their soft skills, from communication to empathy.
